Terms and Conditions (T)

Stav Wagner – Private Chef Events | As of: July 2026

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the business relationship between Stav Wagner, Gerechtigkeitsgasse 57, 3011 Bern (hereinafter "Provider") and customers booking services in the field of private cooking events and catering (hereinafter "Customer").

Deviating conditions of the Customer only apply if the Provider has expressly agreed to them in writing.

2. Services

The Provider offers private cooking events, dinner experiences, and catering services. The exact scope of services (menu, number of guests, location, date, and special requests) is agreed upon individually and recorded in a written order confirmation.

3. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

A booking is considered binding once the Customer has received a written order confirmation from the Provider. The contract is formed upon receipt of the confirmation. Inquiries via the website form do not constitute a binding offer.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include any material costs, unless otherwise agreed. Since the Provider is not subject to VAT, no VAT is shown.

Payment terms:

  • 50% deposit upon order confirmation
  • 50% final payment no later than 7 days before the event

Additional costs (e.g., unforeseen extra material costs) will be invoiced after consultation.

5. Cancellation and Withdrawal

Cancellations must be communicated in writing by email. The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • More than 30 days before the event: full refund of the deposit
  • 15–30 days before the event: 50% of the deposit will be retained
  • Less than 15 days before the event: no refund

The Provider reserves the right to cancel an event for an important reason (illness, force majeure). In this case, the deposit will be fully refunded. Further claims by the Customer are excluded.

6. Obligations of the Customer

The Customer undertakes to:

  • Provide all relevant information (allergies, intolerances, number of guests) in a timely and complete manner
  • Provide a suitable and accessible venue
  • Provide the agreed kitchen and infrastructure

The Customer is liable for damages resulting from incomplete or incorrect information.

7. Liability

The Provider is only liable in cases of gross negligence or intent. Liability for slight negligence as well as for indirect or consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for damages caused by allergies or intolerances that were not communicated to the Provider is expressly excluded.

8. Copyright and Photos

All content contained on the website and in offers (texts, photos, recipes) is protected by copyright and may not be used without the express written permission of the Provider.

The Provider reserves the right to use photos of events (without identifiable persons) for marketing purposes, unless the Customer expressly objects.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Bern, Switzerland, unless otherwise agreed.

10. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these T be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose of the original provision.
